Just because someone is famous: a thread

It does NOT make them any less human or like us.

It does NOT mean they are immune to getting hurt and have no feelings.

It does NOT mean they enjoy or want to be followed all of the time.

It does NOT mean they don’t deserve privacy of their own.

It does NOT mean they don’t see what people post online.

It does NOT mean it is acceptable to interrupt them while clearly busy for a photo op.

It does NOT give the right to stalk and harass.

It does NOT give the right to breach their privacy.

It does NOT give people the right to publicly point out your dislikes in a disrespectful manner

It does NOT give any person the right to treat them any different to anybody else.

It does NOT mean the level of human decency that should be portrayed among one another is any different with them because they are in the spotlight.

And it does NOT make them any different to AnYoNE else.

If you don’t respect or understand this and god forbid you did any of the above. You do not deserve that respect in return.
