i am disgusted, angry, and disappointed.

to everyone saying “this is a black-owned business,” yes, yes it is. HOWEVER the point is to not support a cafe backing a movement that was created out of spite to delegitimize a real political movement aiming to end racism. (1/4)

you can’t disregard the fact that they support blue lives despite being black-owned. ‘blue lives’?? they don’t exist. (2/4)

the blue lives matter movement is rooted in support for a system of police brutality aimed towards black people. it’s towards a MUCH larger group of people affected by a VERY corrupt justice system. (3/4)

the race of who owns code coffee shouldn’t matter. what SHOULD matter is they back a movement whose only goal is to distract its followers from the real issue, which is absolutely not ok. (4/4)
