We all were students mostly of the stateboard, and when were studying the history in various classes,just try to remember how many chapters we had about our own history?

Being a Maharashtrian, i remember in std 4 th we had 3 to 4 chapters about Chh.Shivaji Maharaj and same in standard 7th.
But during the rest of the classes when we all had history as a subject we were taught lessons about Humayun,Akbar, or Shahjahan or babur

Then we grew up, and the history of communists was taught, the bolshevik movement, Stalin, Lenin and Marx and how their revolution was right was embossed on our mind since childhood, again cleverly hiding the mass murders they authorized during their reign.

We were not taught history of our glorious past extensively. try to remember,but how many of us were taught about Chanakya? Chandragupta? Ramayan? Mahabharat? or even 1857 war? and how many of us knew about the Boston tea party? Italian Renaissance or French revolution?

Was it even relevant for a Bhartiya student to learn these things? When we have our history to be told, which cannot be completed even if a person tries to read it his entire life, but we were taught everything,except our own history,isnt it sad?

And we as students never gave a thought to it nor did our parents ! and this continued even when most of us went to college. Now those who opted for science and commerce got out of this mess , bit easily but this history always remained in everyone's mind.

Now coming to the sylabus that UPSC or MPSC students are taught.Have you ever observed closely? I can say this,because just out of curiousity i had taken few books of UPSC from my friend who was about to appear for the exam.

You'll find Anti-Hindu Agenda everywhere in those books, historians like Romila Thapar and likes of her have written sylabus where the weave the stories form our history according to their own wishes, and they tamper it so precisely that we find this to be true.....

Historians have always glorified the invaders,the plunderers,the looters and the mass murderers and have always demeaned those who have really worked for this nation. Sadly, many of our generation don't realize this and live in the dilusion that what they have taught is right.

This needs to change, and this can be done only when we as youngsters and also parents, teach the little one's the right history.Teach them about our glorius past, teach them the sacrifices men/women did to keep this nation intact.
