No offense, but how in the everloving hell are George Floyd, Jacob Blake, Kyle Rittenhouse, and Breonna Taylor considered heroes? What did they do that was considered heroic? Even as someone who’s all for equal rights, I just don’t understand why that label’s used.
George Floyd was a criminal with a long history, and he died from murder, suffocation, and/or drugs? Jacob Blake is a rapist that was shot in the back seven times. Kyle Rittenhouse is a kid that went to another state with an illegally owned gun, and shot people for self defense.
And Breonna Taylor was a woman that was killed in her sleep. What did these four do that was heroic? Why are people idolizing them (even though two are/we’re criminals and two are dead)? I just don’t get it. It. Doesn’t. Make. Sense.
CAN SOMEOME EXPLAIN TO ME WHY THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE CHOOSE TO SUPPORT MEN WITH CRIMINAL HISTORIES EVEN THOUGH THE FACTS ARE RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM?! Is it because they’re black and we’re subject to police brutality? (I think I just answered my own question.)
Wow, this thread is such a mess, and I went on a long tangent. The moral of the story is: Be careful with who you’re supporting. Your so-called “hero” might actually turn out to be a terrible person.
Also I don’t know much about Breonna Taylor, so I definitely don’t know how she’s “heroic”. I can say the same about Kyle Rittenhouse. :\\
