I am getting so beyond annoyed at all of you acting so ridiculous and rude about this pack. Not everything the team releases is meant to be solely for the current Sims player. Nor does releasing this content take away from things like better and more skin tone options.
I’m also guessing that this has probably also been in the works for at least a year which is more so than most game packs and probably has a lot to do with different approval processes with external partners.
You also don’t get to have a say in every pack the team makes. Hold them accountable for things like better diversity and representation, more family focused gameplay options, etc. But man, chill the hell out on shitting on EVERY pack before you’ve even played it or fully seen it
ALSO it is okay for the team to decide to make a pack because they are legitimately excited to make it and want the content. They make the game for crying out loud. It is literally the thing they spend the most time on more so than being with their family, personal vacations, etc
It is a shitty freaking feeling as a developer to make a pack that you are so excited and proud of to have people shitting in your mentions all damn day and not even get to fight back on it either. No one is paid enough to deal with that BS.
Again: Criticizing about/asking for more diversity I 100% support because they NEED to be better.
Being rude because “How dare you work on this instead of what pack I want!” Is so tired and seriously 2020 is enough of a shit hole, you don’t need to add on to it.

And lastly: If you don’t want this content you are not obligated to buy it. Speaking with your wallet has more of an impact on pack content than you raging on the internet. Data is KING
