On the Atherton Tablelands each night comes the thundering sound of thousands of tiny feet galloping across tree trunks in search of a meal. Sixty-two of those tiny foot thwaps are coming from our fiery hero here, who forges relentlessly on despite being big blind. 🧵 /1
This millipede, who I'm sorry we're going to call Darth Maul, is a fierce predator of stationary organic matter. Nothing stands in her way, not even her clustered family members, as she tramples over them like a wave that you shouldn't??surf on but tbh I haven't tried. /2
She dresses in red and black, because it makes her look a bit badass, and why wouldn't you. When threatened, she aggressively curls up into a little ball and waits quietly in this manner to be left alone. Always remember to face the softer, squashier parts to the inside. /3
Are you terrified yet? You should be. One of these segments is probably carrying a lightsaber.
