ATTENTION GRAB is a weird thing. It's a lot like this tweet

And just like that, I got your attention with this tweet. I mean now that I got it might as well put it to good use. You see, a lot of apps and services do that too.
They're built on attention-grabbing since it works, did it not ;) that's what makes attention so precious, but It doesn't mean taking it is bad or evil per se; it depends what you do with it. Like making you think or sharing knowledge.
The thing with attention too is that YOU can decide how you spend it no matter what I tell you or do, in the end, and that's an important thing to remember. There's a lot more you can accomplish if you take the time to control your attention.
You can also get there more easily with some help from centralization. Many things work way better with a single central place for them. Which is what I'll explore in this thread
