ranking things my dad has called one direction, a thread :

“harry and the boys” ; 3/5
got his point across but, as I told him, the boys have names as well. overall not the worst

“harry, neville (?), and the others” ; 4/5
the idea of niall being named neville is hilarious to me. i think he was making a connection between 1D and harry potter because they’re both british but niall is obviously irish so it doesn’t quite work

“zayn, zach...” ; 1/5
a point for remembering zayns name but zach isn’t even close to the other boys’ names and that was all he could think of before he completely gave up

“louis, hewey, dewey” ; 2/5
when I told them one of them was named louis, he made the connection w the three newphews of donald duck, glad he can connect that their names are the same but one direction is not a group of singing ducks

“your boys” ; 5/5
very sweet, makes me think that I’m grouped with them. even if it’s only in my dads mind it’s still sweet that if he thinks of me, he thinks of them.
