The @BTS_twt press conference about #Dynamite reaching no 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 is due to start soon.

Hobi: To be honest BTs reaching no 1 on the Hot 100 we never imagined it, it still feels like a dream. I don't know if this is reality, I'm still shaking, I'm still excited, We started this bc we love music, bc we love dancing, and I'm v happy and excited

Hobi: It's such an honour for us...the energy and support we received from fans drove us and allowed us to keep going...that is what allowed today's BTS to become who we are and today's J-Hope.

Jimin: Yesterday we were so happy, so thrilled, I think we calmed down a little bit because we were going beserk because we were so happy. This is something that we never really imagined would happen. It was something - at some point we felt this was something that we wanted

Jimin: this was something that the fans wanted as we did...now we are here it still doesn't feel like reality. I wasn't sure how I need to think and feel...I was really thankful to the other members. We were all beside each other for this process. We are so thankful to the fans.

Jimin also thanks Bang PD and staff and their family

Namjoon: I never thought we'd have this sort of conference and say these kinds of things. I was waiting all night and I was the first to receive these news.

We had practice that day, when we have these things I can't really sleep...(he waited up for results)

Namjoon wanted to go to sleep straight away to preserve his emotions.

He has been reflecting back on their past, eating together, their growth.

He's thanking fans and staff.

JK: I heard the news a little bit later, when I learned we had reached the top of the chart, I wasn't sure if this webpage I was looking at was really real, I as out of it for a little bit. It's really our ARMY who has helped us reach this milestone and make this achievement.

"Being able to be a part of such a milestone is a great honour for me in my entire lifetime. It was actually my birthday so it felt like a huge birthday present. I'm glad I was born so I want to say again thanks to my mum and dad and ARMY"

Jin: We have our chatroom and Namjoon posted a picture 10-20 minutes before the wide release, Namjoon said actually this is a fake picture, and then 10-20 minutes he posted the same picture again and I realised it was real. I went to Weverse and kept writing and erasing a message

Jin: I realised the only thing i can say is BTS and ARMY, this is something we achieved together...This was a song we made because we wanted to enjoy it together with our fans and the fact that we were able to achieve this is all thanks to our fans. Thank you so much.

Yoongi: Actually I'm still having a hard time grasping that this is real. We talked a lot, we often said 'no 1 on the hot 100', this is something we'd like to have. It's not like we worked hard [just] to reach this goal, but he feels like a dream we have reached this goal

Yoongi says he pinched himself, he grew up listening to Billboard charts, and he thanks ARMY for making his dreams possible

Tae: I didn't think that BTS would be in such a limelight by the global audience. We came to Seoul together from the provinces with nothing. We had a small practice student in the basement. It was just the 7 of us practicing together, working together, these memories are fresh.

Tae: all of the difficulties we had to go through...all of these are pleasant and sweet memories and that really amplifies the joy that I have now. I feel I have received an award, a certificate, and that makes me happy.

Tae: Today I want to set down any worries and concerns. I want everyone to cheer for us and smile, just for today.

Re: Dec 2015 they made it onto Billboard 200 for HYYH pt 2

Hobi: I think we were much more excited back then Seeing our name on the Billboard chart was really shocking, we were in awe of that.

JK: It wasn't possible, it was literally impossible for us to achieve that kind of feat. We couldn't believe it was real or a dream. Since we had that result, we wanted to reach for even more heights, and that's when we got even more driven and we were able to reach higher.

Yoongi smiling at the suggestion when he speaks his dreams come true - what's next?

Yoongi: It makes me very happy and feels like a great accomplishment. I need to be careful about what I say when it comes to goals. I'm very happy we achieved this great feat with Dynamite.

Yoongi: now I start to think abotu what our next goal should be...it's not that we released Dynamite to make it to the Hot 100 chart, we simply put it out to give more energy to people around the world and I'm very happy that so many people listened to this became energised.

Yoongi: That fact makes me much happier (he is grinning and GLOWING). I guess I do have to mention our new goal, I feel very pressured right now..

Yoongi: If i have to say it, we went to the Grammys and did a collab performance, now I would like to do a single performance, just BTS on the Grammy awards stage.

Yoongi: It would be great to receive an award but that's not going to become a reality just because we want it. We need a lot of help from a lot of people. So for now just performing on the Grammy award stage [is the goal].

Tae: I am very happy to share this honourable, happy moment with the members of the press and everyone. I hope we can live up to your expectations.

Yoongi: Becoming no 1 on this chart and being congratulated by so many people, I feel a great sense of gratitude.

Jin: This music, these performances... I hope that once again we can give you this gift in the future, and I would like to bring more good news in the future so keep an eye on us please.

JK: I read this message just now and it's really touching I think.

The message is about being a reporter following their career, finding it inspirational, thanking them and big hit

JK: saying that you have been following us and have learned form us, I feel extremely grateful for this. Seeing that you are following our career and looking forward to our future is also very touching. Thank you so much. Because people like you exist we are able to go further.

? about Jimin's tweets about how he can't stop crying.

Jimin: Actually, I don't really know. I heard this news I think it was 3.20-3.30. It was after 4am that I heard this news, I was basically crying until 7am and then I fell asleep exhausted from crying.

Jimin: At first I was really shocked. I was with Jungkook and we were thrilled and we were excited. And then we were staring at our chart, caressing it on our phones. And then I started crying and we started talking with the other members.

Jimin: I said to Namjoon it was because of you we accomplished all of this. We had this conversation with the members all morning. What we talked about all morning was this is possible for us, we can do this.
