1/ Tonight I want to share some of the research I have been doing on what I am calling "Pastel QAnon". I have been spending some time researching Women QAnon believers on Instagram. Many are lifestyle influencers, mommy pages, fitness pages, diet pages, and alternative healing

2/ These influencers provide an aesthetic and branding to their entire pages, and they in turn apply this to QAnon content, softening the messages, videos and traditional imagery that would be associated with QAnon narratives. This branding is the polar opposite of "raw" Qanon

3/ These influencers have anywhere from a few hundred to over a hundred thousand followers, some are also verified. No every post is slathered with QAnon hashtags, but the central narratives are there and part of a wider brand.

4/ What brings these influencers together is the child trafficking narratives, and the recent actions by platforms, combined with child trafficking awareness month, lead to the hijacking of "save the children" by QAnon and has given Patel QAnon a stronger platform to campaign on

5/ Female influencers in QAnon, also play a role in connecting Pastel QAnon with the Wider QAnon movement

5/ Some are quite protective of their brand, and only share QAnon or Awakening/Woke/Research in their stories/page highlights. But in these stories we see the promotion of classic docs like Fall of the Cabal and Out of Shadows, as well as Joe M.

6/ However, behind the branding and soft colours lies the QAnon we all know, along with all it entails: racism, medical/COVID disinformation, violence, and now the negative impact the hijacking of "save the children" is having on NGOs and CSOs that actually save lives.

7/ Pastel QAnon is an example of A) how QAnon can latch on to new audiences, B) That QAnon is gender inclusive, C) QAnon does not appear to negatively impact the brand or clout of these influencers cc. @crowdtangle

8/ D) the softening of QAnon narratives creates a different radicalization pipeline that traditional toolkits would need to adapt to, E) by using stories and lives to promote QAnon narratives it is much more difficult to link some of these accounts to QAnon without some OSINT

9/ F) finally, and the most important i think, the clout and verification these incluencers garnered prior to getting redpilled, carries over into their QAnon conversion, making them powerful vectors to redpill others to QAnon.
