Playoff overtime hockey is like a very enjoyable heart attack.

The last time the #isles got to the conference finals it was on an overtime goal.

I was 14. It was the first time I'd watched overtime hockey and it blew my mind.
That whole series was surreal bc my grandfather died during game one or two of that series (like, right in the middle of a game) and that overtime game winning goal really helped with the grieving process.
I think in the same week I went from experiencing death for the first time to experiencing the jubilation of watching your underdog team beat the defending champs in OT.

What a wild week that was.
Thank God we're Jewish so the whole process was relatively quick. Like, boom, dead, in the ground, sit Shiva, watch hockey.
