An earlier tweet from this account wrongly omitted UCSF from a list of UC campuses working towards our collective liberation from cops. UCFTP apologizes sincerely and profusely for this oversight.
BIPOC students and workers at UCSF have *led* this struggle, and we have all been called to action by their example.

More broadly, UCFTP would like to clarify: faculty organizers are part of a coalition for abolition that stretches across UC campuses and is LED by BIPOC community members, students, grad workers, and other workers. Faculty are proud to JOIN this campaign: we are NOT leading it.
