A few suggestions, neither exhaustive nor in any particular order, for getting through the storm:

The laity have a charism of discernment, especially in temporal, political affairs. Use it.
Remember there are other offices up for election besides the presidency.
Seek information from people and sources that you trust, the ones that don’t scream at you or call you names if you disagree with them.
Read *Faithful Citizenship*; better yet, form a Zoom study group. It’s not perfect, it’s not infallible, but it’s a frame to help us think responsibly as Catholics.

Spend more time reading the Gospel than you do watching cable news shows, or arguing politics on Twitter.
Know what you must in conscience vigorously oppose in the agendas of whomever it is you decide to vote for; know these things at least as well, if not better, than you know what you can support.
Pray before and after you vote.
