The September Full Moon in Pisces

I can't think of a better time to dive into Moon Magick than the day before we approach the final Full Moon of the season. Tomorrow she will rise full + bright in Pisces; a dreamy dance into a month of creativity + inner workings, laced with sensitivity.

A Pisces Full Moon during Virgo season carries an incredible sense of balance + order. The intuitionism and determination that comes with this combination is outstanding, + so subtly powerful. All things sub + super conscious require special attention this week.

It's no secret, the Full Moon brings high tides of emotion + impulse; when she is full she has completed her waxing phase + not yet begun to wane, making for an awkward energetic period akin to midlife crisis. This is why many witches choose not to spellcast at this time.

Many witches live + breathe magick by the Full Moon, as popularized by modern Wiccan traditions, but to the Astral mage this phase + the New Moon are less useful in spell casting — regardless, she is considered her most powerful during these phases.

The energy profile of the Full Moon is masculine, + characterized by the Mother archetype. Self expression is present in the activation of our Sacral, Heart, + Throat Chakras, and currently being affirmed by our transit of watery Pisces. This is AKA the Creator phase.

Another name for this moon phase is the Visibility phase — duh, she's full + luminous! We will find ourselves in a state of reflection + introspective thought (when we aren't daydreaming), which can illuminate all kinds of truths... this can be painful, but necessary.

This Full Moon is an exceptional time to capitalize on self expression. Connecting with her passionate + magnetic energies to birth your goals into reality will come easily this week. Pisces' layer of dreaminess will make visualization a powerful manifestation tool

Manifestation Magick during a Full Moon is beneficial for things that must happen *right now* — it is wise to time your rites with peak fullness — but can otherwise bring things to manifest quickly + immaturely, robbing seeds of their germination period, use discretion.

While you can certainly use the power of the Full Moon to spellcast for anything, this time should be reserved for things of high priority + importance; Use this introspective energy + your heightened intuition to discern what your efforts are best focused on.

It's important during this phase, + particularly during this Piscean Full Moon, to temper our emotional responses + exercise impulse control; Now is time to practice radical acceptance, forgiveness, + compassion — both with oneself + ones peers

h o w e v e r ... Be warned that a Full Moon in Pisces, can bring a great deal of friction to maternal relationships.

If we take advantage of our activated Chakras during these sandpaper moments, though, + apply empathy + compassion, we can infuse Full Moon Magick into a genuine discussion, + begin deep inner healing — particularly of our Inner Child

Creatives + makers will find the Full Moon in Pisces inspiring + motivating; Choose a sacred space to work your artistic dreams into the 3D. If you have the freedom to, get expressive + design by instinct. Now is the time for Art Therapy, formal or otherwise
