As an indigenous MOA I feel like it is my responsibility to weigh in on the issue. Personally, I’m not offended because I don’t see anything resembling a specific tribe’s headdress or traditional regalia so I take no issue with it.
However! I also realize that I do not speak for all natives. Native culture is not homogenous and we do not all share the same viewpoints. With that being said I can understand anyone who is offended since reducing any culture down to an aesthetic/style can still be harmful.
