01 Tsukuyomi by D'Anthoni Wooten ( @DAnthoniWooten)
I came across D'Anthoni's music on twitter this year & knew at once I wanted to collab with him~ He works so well in the ambient space with a touch of vocals & his beautiful arrangement was a perfect way to kick off the album

02 Light Rail by Yasunori Nishiki ( @yasunorinishiki)
I had the really wonderful opportunity of sharing a release year with Nishiki-san's Octopath soundtrack & it put our music in the same categories of recognition, beyond me just being a big fan of his music!

While traveling in Japan last year, we managed to find several opportunities to meet up & I'm really happy to have connected with him, since we have such a similar trajectory in our own sides of the industry. I've wanted to collaborate with moe for years, so when we met up in Tokyo last year I absolutely had to ask~ What they surprised me with was an idea for a remix way different from their usual style, and it turned out so damn rad

04 Trance State by Anastasia Kristensen
Several of the artists on Reknowing were scouted out by Local Action & it's always been my aim to collaborate with a wide variety of folks, so it was a very pleasant surprise to be introduced to her music!

05 Aurora by Ziúr ( @ziurinhell)
I was also introduced to Ziúr's music through Local Action, and I'm super glad! Their take on Aurora is both calming and panicked, transitioning the album from its first part into the last two tracks for a gentle decrescendo https://ziurziurziur.bandcamp.com/ 

06 Wake Up by Jukio Kallio ( @jukiokallio)
The original piece is a really special one to me, and so it was through my trust of Jukio's talents & our previous collaboration on B-Sides that I gave this track over to him & he really just did something special with it.

While it's a far cry from the manic popscape that is his latest work on Fall Guys, Jukio took my invented lyrics and transformed them into something real & grounded in Finnish, a beautiful song that could've only come from this collaboration~ Excited to share it

07 A Chance to Rest by Yamaneko
Fun fact, Yamaneko is the reason why I'm involved with Local Action at all, since he was a big Celeste fan & introduced my music, so it feels fitting that he's closing out the album with a beautiful, even more calming refresh of my original track~
