Until modern fighting games return offline, I will choose to play with friends online for now or run sets with people closest to get better. I've been playing other fighters (Third Strike/Alpha 2) or other games (Sonic 3 / Nocturne) and I've noticed I've had a much lighter mood
With the climate of modern fighters and the prospect of fame acquisition and wealth, everyone has lost the vision of what fighting games truly are. I've succumbed to it at one point too. Online only vilifies this and we lose that connection and intimacy. The gentleman's agreement
I hate fighting games and most interactivity online. You lose so much of that body language, interactivity and conversation that you can't get really with online. And it's hard to interact in social media without contextual tone & kinesthetic action to anchor ones words/decisions
