1) Story Time: It's the Rd 1 of playoffs and we're up 7 at half. I came down from the booth to find our HC (and playcaller) @coachplanz shivering so uncontrollably his teeth were chattering.

He's so locked in tho, I cant tell if he even realizes how cold his body is.

2) So while he talks adjustments, I disappear to bum cash from @bartlett_coach and then give it to the nearest JV player that I trust.

With the seriousness of an ER doc triaging patients, I instruct him to cut the concessions line and grab two hot chocolates before half ends.

3) He must have taken my urgency to heart because he returned with two piping hot chocolates in a time that would have made a Nascar pit crew jealous.

I grab the cups (and change) and casually strode over to @coachplanz as he talked to the Def coaches.

4) Without saying a word, I slid one of the cups in his free hand and then stepped back so as not to interrupt the convo. I wasn't entirely sure if I'd have to convince him to drink it, but thankfully he immediately took a big sip.

5) In fact, he finished the whole thing within a matter of minutes and by the start of the second half he had stopped shivering. Eventually we went on to win the game and for the rest of the year I made sure I stopped at an ATM on gamedays.
