I dunno why TXT are getting hate but first and foremost you have to acknowledge that they are ASIANS and feathers are used/seen in asian culture, especially in folklores and such esp when associated with birds like Cranes and Peacocks.

lets start with korean culture
Koreans have been using feathers in the headdresses in the ancient times as seen in the pictures.

CTTO: Pictures NOT MINE
in asian fantasy feather accessories are also used

and this is more true for those linked with asian folklores when associating characters to deities like peacock/crane/etc.
they are also present in some animes. here's Manaka from "Nagi no Asu kara"
Another is Kumo Baren from "Donten ni Warau"
Most striking similar to Hyuka's outfit tho is Sorey from "Tales of Zestiria the X" *note that Tales from Zestiria is a game"
More of Sorey from "Tales of Zestiria"
actually those blue feathers look more similar to Sorey's Armatization with Mikleo. watch vid below
DISCLAIMER: not a single photo is mine. all credits to their respective owners
All I want to say is

they are ASIANS, and we Asians also use feathers for our garments in the past. this is more true for asian ethnic groups that worshipped bird deities.
lastly, feathers were part of cultural costumes/outfits. Seeing TXT do that is not in anyway offensive (as far as I'm concerned, speaking from an asian POV)
all I'm saying is don't label it as CA when in fact usage of feathers exist in asian culture.

i won't argue if its offensive in your POV

but at least consider that it could simply be a matter of CULTURAL DIFFERENCE
sorry i'm not really good with words, and the images i've searched up were limited, i hope some asians contribute to this too

A folklore epic TV Series in the Philippines entitled AMAYA

they use feathers and/or feather-shaped gold ornaments in their garments as well
Miss Universe Philippines National Costumes
Let me just say this too

in this era of MODERNIZATION, most cultural groups actually APPRECIATE other people wearing their outfits, because doing so is an act of retaining the culture/prolonging its lifespan.

it is in fact GREATLY APPRECIATED.

so its GA not CA 😊
imma sleep for now.

I woke up at 2 AM and found the C/A Allegation which really frustrated me and woke me up. well at least I've said my part. i'll try to add more once i wake uplater

allow me to summarize my argument at this point.

#1 TXT are Koreans (ASIANS) who are said to have used feathers in their outfit on "THE 2ND PHOTOBOOK ‘H:OUR’ SPOT"

#2 Other Asian Countries (in my examples JAPAN) also use the same practice in their works - anime, games
now why #1 & #2?

#3 - its because the usage of feathers is also present in ASIAN Cultures, more evident in south-east asian cultures - see Igorot of Philippines, Dani Tribe and Asmat Tribe of Indonesia, Murut Tribe of Indonesia, and many more
#4 - Some are claiming its CA against Native American Culture. Again let me emphasize - Koreans are ASIANS and TXT doing it is more of a reference to the ASIAN Culture previously mentioned.
#5 - I don't know if it is offensive in YOUR culture, but let me say this: your culture is not the ONLY culture using it. For ASIANS, feathers have been used by many of our ethnic tribes.
#6 - THEREFORE TXT is not committing CA against the native indigenous tribes of America, but are rather referencing it to the cultures of their neighboring countries in ASIA.

#7 - since it is not offensive in our culture, it is a matter of CULTURAL DIFFERENCE
#8 - Open your mind and educate yourself. Stop labeling it as CA.

and FFS stop telling asian cultures are just stolen cultures from america. be educated.

END OF MY ARGUMENT
