We all see great screenshots showing this amazing growth over the last 28 days.

We share our praise but how often do you wonder

What can I do with results like that?

Here's a short thread breaking down Twitter Analytics

👇 [1/X] 👇
First things first, when you get to your Twitter Analytics page

Go up to the top and next to "Home"

You'll see "Tweets"

See below for the sample (and a slight August 2020 flex 😂)

[2/X]
Here you'll see a nice graph showing daily Tweets vs Engagement and to the right a customized time period.

Below is every Tweet/Reply/Retweet done over the established time period

Finally the bottom right you'll see the "Engagements"

Let's do a deeper dive here

[3/X]
First is "Engagement Rate"

Its a breakdown of "Views" (or Impressions)

Over "Engagement" (Expands+Clicks+Likes+Replies+Retweets)

This is how to gauge tweets or Replies pop off

Remember today's reply could be tomorrow's tweet.

[4/X]
Second is "Link Clicks"

Self-explanatory, if you put a link in your tweet it's tracked when clicked

Don't be discouraged if you go days without a link click

Unless all of your tweets are promoting something

Stick to monitoring how each tweet does in Link Clicks

[5/X]
Third is "Retweets without Comments"

An important metric when your tweet gets Quote Tweeted

The attention is placed on the person retweeting.

Instead of your tweet itself.

So attention is being driven towards their Twitter Profile instead of yours.

[6/X]
Fourth & Fifth are "Likes" & "Replies"

It feeds into engagement and often times are a great indicator for your popular tweets.

One good tip is to like and reply back to every reply tweet.

Keeps your posts relevant to other timelines and encourages conversations!
