The 8 year old in my house challenges me everyday.

Tam: My Pastor, let's go for Prayer walk.
Me: I'm tired now. Please let me rest.
Tam: Too tired to pray? That's risky ó!
Me:🙄 🙄

Tamara Pray for us
Tam: I don't know how to pray in English. I only pray in tongues now...
Message playing...
Tam: Sister Peace, Are you dozing? Pastor is teaching & you are dozing! You are acting beside yourself! Let's listen & take notes joor.
Peace: I'm. Not. Sleeping. Oversabi!

Inside a bus. A brother comes to preach, says you will go to hell because of conduct...
Tam: (Points and starts talking at the top of her voice) That brother is lying ó! Is it not unbelief that takes a person to hell? How can Jesus come to die and rose again for our justification and we will nah go to hell after we have believed? Pastor tell him nah! Tell him ma!
In Church: "Church is closed, say hi to someone"
Tamara : walks up to someone, gives an accurate utterance audaciously.
After evangelism
Tam: Pastor, I gave the woman we preached to utterances. At first, she did not want to believe but I knew it was true! She agreed! I rejoiced.
Tamara : My Pastor, see my note from church today. Let me tell you what they taught us today.
Me: We're you blessed?
Tam: YES ma! Sis Adoration and bro Armour refused to pray and were just playing. I went to meet them and told them that in our church, we are very serious!
We sing, we pray, we learn the word and we rejoice and we preach the gospel! If you don't learn and pray how will you preach to your friends? Church is not for playing o! Sheybi Pastor?

Me: YES Tam! Church is for serious business.

Tam: That's what I told them!
I could go on and on. Endless and effortless challenge this one. See, they are not too young to know the Lord and do His will! Paul speaking to Timothy said 'That from a young age, thou hast known the Holy scriptures which are able to make thee wise unto salvation'...
His mother and grandmother, Lois and Eunice gave him the best childhood. A childhood in the word of truth! They set him up for Paul's Fatherhood, set him up for a future in the Power of God! He could never have missed it!

There is no such thing as too young! Too young? No way!
My goddaughter is barely one. I spent a few days with her parents who are family to me. They'd have family devotion, praying & studying while she is awake so she'd grow up knowing this was the norm. I'd carry her into my room when praying and we'd pray together. It's deliberate!
There's no age too young for the gospel to reach. There's no age too early to start training them in the Spirit! If they can watch cartoons and get it, then they can hear the gospel and get it. They can pray! They can go with you to evangelism! They can study with you! They can!
School is hard! ABC is hard! Maths is hard! English is hard! The gospels simplicity is the simplest on the face of the ẹarth! Start from very young! Let them learn of Jesus and what he came to do! Let them learn of their identity in Him! It's not too early! It's the ideal time!
The devil's tools are all around! In the things you think are harmless and 'age appropriate' for them! THE GOSPEL IS FOR ALL AGES!! Don't expose them to the world more than you expose them to the word and the spiritual! Let them watch and learn! Let them do along with you!
Children Church teachers, don't show them movies while their parents are learning the word. No! They deserve the word and the training of the Spirit too! Get busy! Take this work Christ has committed its privilege into your hands seriously! Teach them Christ and them in Him!
Get them praying in the Holy Ghost, teach them to sing in the Spirit and in the understanding, teach them the gifts of the Spirit and how to walk in it, teach them to evangelise, teach them to use their authority as Believers against the Devil and his plan!
Set them right on the path of God's will! Oh how their lives will glorify the Lord because of this! Oh how their teenage & adult years would full of grace and glory & not what we see in the world today! Oh How they would bring much joy to heaven! Because of a powerful childhood!
This is the way! God's way! It's not too early! No it ISN'T! GOD IS COUNTING ON US TO REACH HIS KIDS! Train up a child in the way He should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

I hope this helps!
