The Santa Cruz Warriors were one of the best ballscreen teams in the G-League.

▫️ .93 PPP for all ballscreen possessions.
▫️ 3rd for total number of ballscreen possessions.

One of the concepts they used was creating single tag situations and attacking those with their rollers.
Ghost Cut & Step Up

🏀 The Warriors clear out the side and cut the first guard through.
🏀 #21 Davis sprints up for the second one
🏀They run an exit screen on the ball side and the single tag defender has no chance of helping on the roll.
Away twist Angle

🏀 Out of their away screen #20 Pargo curls hard and #95 Toscano Anderson goes into the side PNR.
🏀 The tag defender helps take away the roll, but that opens up the skip pass from Pargo
Middle PNR off a zipper cut (without the screen)

🏀 #31 Reese cuts up the lane line and gets the pass in the middle of the floor.
🏀 Toscano-Anderson sets the high ballscreen and rolls hard.
🏀 The only defender that can help on the roll is stuck to his guy above the FT line.
Screen into Middle PNR

🏀 Good cutting action with Toscano Anderson cutting off Pargo. Pargo pops to catch.
🏀 On the catch, Davis screens for Pargo and rolls hard.
🏀 The single tag defender doesnt leave his man.
Side Get into PNR

🏀 Reese hits #10 Norvell and cuts to the corner.
🏀 Davis screens and rolls hard for the dunk
