Oh, we& #39;re doing IndyCar ratings again? IndyCar ratings are bad because they haven& #39;t brought new fans into the series for literally 30 years. Can we move on now?
Asking IndyCar to market itself better is like asking a giraffe to eat lettuce. Sure, lettuce would probably be something a giraffe enjoys, but it& #39;s gone more or less its entire life eating from the top of trees and hasn& #39;t died yet! Is better something the giraffe even wants?
An IndyCar interested in growth does not sign a television deal with NBC. An IndyCar interested in growth does not leave the terrible NBC production team and on-air talent untouched for years. IndyCar is interested in survival, not growth. It& #39;s short sighted and bad, but true!
