arm is like a whole new universe of arcane shit

iama baby nerd again, I have no idea how any of this works
okay I need help: what's a good armv4t board qemu emulates and that I can easily run some cross-compiled bit of C into?

I don't feel like trying out the fifty options there.. https://wiki.qemu.org/Documentation/Platforms/ARM
okay, 12hr into this I'm discovering that qemu doesn't emulate unaligned memory access quirks so I can give up on getting buildroot to give me something useful :'(
I guess I'll show unaligned SSE operands instead... or something. Not as cool. I really wanted to emulate old hardware and show what it did 😱
even the oldest Android phone I have on hand (Wileyfox Swift) transparently handles unaligned memory access, it's not even fun
I just want a platform where this does something fun instead of "just working"
aaaand I got it, thanks everyone.
