After exploring @CLE_State I'm thoroughly impressed w/ everything from the green spaces, to the architecture, to the housing & more! Its position just steps away from @DowntownCLE give it so much growth potential both as a university and an extension of the city itself. 1/
To start, its location along Euclid Ave makes it incredibly accessible with the @GCRTA Cleveland State & Health Lines offering convenient, regular public transit options.
Not to mention, there was no shortage of @BirdRide, @limebike, etc. electric scooters nearby. 2/

The abundance of green space just off the roadways is such a refreshing sight, especially coming from the beautiful / world-class, yet concrete heavy urban landscape of @PSQDistrict. 3/
The Student Center is an impressive modern structure w/ subtle shades of @cwru Peter B. Lewis Building & offers a great, central home base for undergrads to study, work, eat, or just lounge. 4/

Special shout out to @jackbranca who spotted / shared this fantastic open-air balcony space on the upper floors of the Student Center!

The addition of modern, new buildings like @CsuNeomed shows CSU's ongoing commitment to improvement / innovation and thoughtful partnerships with the world-class health and biotech industry here in CLE. 6/
That goes doubly for @CSUWashkewicz (which just so happens to be their bday today
), who are doing great work in everything from chemical, to civil, to computer to environmental, to electrical engineering. 7/

On the student housing side, I was surprised and impressed by not only the amount available but also the style of offerings. Most notably the incredible 22-story art deco dormitory Fenn Tower. What an amazing architectural asset to the campus (and city)! 8/
Also worth mentioning the much smaller statured, yet still very cool green ivy laden Fenn Hall just steps from the tower.
9/

Probably most recognizable, Rhodes Tower is a massive Brutalist structure that literally towers over campus & puts CSU on the map among the CLE skyline. Not the most aesthetically pleasing, but very functional.
Plus points for the quaint green space near the parking garage. 10/

Euclid Commons offer a much more modern style and fresh looking set of condoesque low-rises just across from Fenn Tower on Euclid. 11/
Stretching nearly the entire eastern half of the campus along the north side of Chester, http://thelangston.com is massive and offers more of the modern row-home style looking apts and a host of F&B spots for students. 12/
Also, a campus tour wouldn't be complete without mentioning neighboring Trinity Cathedral. Really, really impressive architecture and history on just across the way on Euclid Ave. 13/
This is just a short list of all @CLE_State has to offer. It's very impressive & a solid foundation to build on as CSU reimagines their future

There's a lot to look forward to at CSU, and as it continues to grow / improve, so does CLE!
