So... I have time so here we go about what is happening with these tours in Europe and why organizers give to every kpop group even rookies an arena to perform . A friend of mine working on Mercedes Benz arena so I asked him about it months ago.
Many people believe organizers don& #39;t do research or know that only bts have demand and not kpop etc.. Well wrong! They know damn well who has demand and that kpop is still a niche a bubble for a specific audience. The only thing that changed now is that they can do better deals.
What do I mean? Well you see whenever kpop artists or even kpop events (like music bank with a lot of groups) tried to tour in Europe was a disaster the tickets were unsold and whole arenas covered with black sheats to avoid the embarrassment (yes this happened with g/d).
So they had bad experience with their deals and were hunting down the kpop companies for their money. After BTS had real sold out double dates all over Europe they were impressed. But what happened after that? Kpop companies wanted to mediaplay their groups so they came back
Asking to book arenas even for rookies that had just debuted (for example a tz). So what organizers did? Simple... Better deals. Half money beforehand and the whole arena paid either you sell 10 tickets or 20k. They don& #39;t care as long as they get their money. Kpop companies
Agree to that so they can push the narrative this group is big and booked the same arenas as bts! Lies lies cause none of them has filled more than 6k people in 20k arenas. So in conclusion.. They have these groups touring and everything they get from these 5-6k tickets
Aren& #39;t enough to pay for the arena and organizers so these idols don& #39;t get shit! They prefer to overpay a whole arena while they know they can& #39;t sell out than going to a theater of 5k capacity and get some money. I repeat arenas get their money no matter how many tickets you sell
So they secure their pockets. When we see the reports and all these companies are minus with billions won that& #39;s the reason. They pay articles, bundles, arenas, Playlists just to prove kpop is going big . Years later members from groups will come forward and talk how they
Struggling economically and they weren& #39;t so global as their companies tried to portray them or the deals they signed were not beneficial at all . All these obsessed Ceos will keep bleeding money cause they are bitter bts were the chosen ones. Good luck!
