#ClimateChange

I'll be the first to agree #Emission control is great for health. Ex smog.

Once you start talking a Carbon Tax will reduce temps your talking nonsense. Besides they're daily forecasting is off. It's a #fundme, Rob Peter to pay Paul. Meanwhile it does the opposite
By taxing they remove the money from industry that does have the most impact on temp, #Agriculture.

Hottest day in #Canada 45 °C July 5, 1937 Yellow Grass, SK.

Why? At the time farm technique stripped & turned soil over in cultivation repeatedly. Reducing humidity, increasing
extremes in temp fluctuation.

Fast Forward to today. Techniques, Tech, innovation have lead to continues farming and healthier crop canopies. Which builds water retention, which creates humidity. Which insultates #temperatures from rising but also collapsing at night.
Therefore #Carbon Taxing industry that regenerates Ag, Forestry, etc, Your leaving less $ for inputs to grow canopy. And creating a short term business plan environment VS stewardship to build soil, water retention health. Carbon Tax limits reducing temp & limits #stewardship.
@scotthodgins read this thread. I explained why a Carbon tax is not as advertised by Liberals.

Also increases of CO2 when growing bigger crops are required just like any part of the nutrients needed would have to be increased. Plants grow to their weakest links potential.
