fundamentally if you approach sex as something that is shameful & taboo that needs to be hidden from ~the children~ you do not stand for the liberation of sex workers

the idea that sex work should be decriminalized and the idea that sex is inherently harmful or dangerous cannot coexist. they cannot. you either stand for a world in which sex workers are uplifted & protected or you do not.

at its core, the issue of decrim means not wanting to hide weird, queer, nasty sex. you can’t paint some of us as palatable and some as not without the decrim of “acceptable” sex work meaning the oppression of anything deemed unacceptable.
