whether they're shading bp directly or not, i just wanted to get some things off my chest. get comfy cus it's a little long (sorry in advance
) please READ IT ALL, and please share it if you agree. https://twitter.com/beemyhope_/status/1300717051405795328

a. you can be successful without having a bb#1. you don't have to have performed at coachella to be successful. you don't have to be a staple in the western industry to be successful. the most iconic and successful kpop groups haven't had a bb#1 or performed at coachella
b. sometimes armys make me feel bad for the boys. i keep seeing people like "yeah my faves are humble, but i'm not" that's not cool, don't do that. bts is literally all about humbleness because they know what it took to get here. don't do them like that
c. i see alot of armys (and other fandoms, but mostly armys) saying "kpop stans" in a rude way. armys are kpop stans. end of story.
b. unless your and armyblink, just don't interact, shade, tag, talk about, or ANYTHING w the other side. because y'all create too much drama when y'all get together. and tbh it doesn't make sense why blinks and armys are always at odds. literally we stan two of the +
+ most internationally prominent kpop groups. we should be getting along. the girls AND the boys don't like drama. they're peaceful groups. can we be like them? because literally when locals look at us, they think we're a hot ass mess. but if either side can't not +
+ sneak diss, talk shit, etc etc the other side then y'all just don't need to interact. and also, don't drag the group members at all. army or blink. if you have a problem w the fandom, take that up w the FANS in your drafts please. point blank.
c. just because a song doesn't hit +100M in one day, that doesn't mean it's a flop. shut up. just because a song doesn't hit +70M in one day, that doesn't mean it's a flop. shut up. just because a song doesn't get any music show wins, that doesn't mean it's a flop. shut up. +
+ and w that i'm talking to armys, blinks, nctzens, neverlands, etc etc ALL kpop stans. because our most iconic song ever that we all love (move by king taemin) didn't get any wins and it probably didn't hit 70M in one day, but do we call that a flop? HELL FUCKING NO.
d. please respect all kpop artists. you don't have to like their music. you don't have to be a fan. you don't even have to know of the group/soloist. but they all have trained/are training way too damn hard to be disrespected by people shading them when they're trying +
to simply live out their dream. we don't like it when it happens to our faves, so don't do it to anyone else's.
e. hold your faves accountable for what they do. if you're in the position to be doing the forgiving, if you're offended you don't have to continue to stan. what others that aren't apart of the offended group think doesn't matter at all. you can forgive your fave and +
hold them accountable. be reasonable, understand that they may not have known, but don't let it slide without holding them accountable and trying to educate them in some way, shape, or form.
f. can we all get along? multis aren't useless, kstans aren't rude or whiny, istans aren't annoying (well kinda), armys aren't entitled (maybe a little), blinks aren't shady (only a little), solo stans aren't bad (not inherently). we all love kpop/k-hiphop/KOREAN MUSIC +
+ right? even if we don't like the same artists, can't we just be unified as lovers of this music? that's why we're here right? not to brag, not to shade, not to complain, not to hurt. we're here to love the music and our faves and be respectful and just vibe and geek out +
over the dumb things. we're here to love music videos, we're here to cry to seventeen's ballads, we're here to hit you w that ddu du ddu du du, we're hear to scream I DON'T KNOW, NAN MOLLA, we're hear to "어두운 주명 아래 또 시작되는 MOVE", we're here to fanboy/fangirl +
over someone when they dye their hair pink, we're here to cry over the cutest grown men and women in the galaxy, we're here to wonder why the stylists did them dirty, we're here to demand justice from the company, we're here to love and appreciate korean music. +
we're here because we love this shit and we're in this for life. we're here because it's our happiness, for some their reason they're still breathing. so can we PLEASE, and i mean all kpop stans and fans, love and respect each other? and just love our music together?
and tbh if fandoms teamed up more it'd just make kpop even stronger. more groups could go to coachella, more groups could get a first win, more groups could get a bb#1. more groups could get the recognition they deserve.
i know this thread was long and if you made it to the end I'm so sorry LMAO
but can we all agree (blinks, armys, multis, EVERYONE) to respect each other and each other's favorites? kpop would be cooler that way. like imagine a __ × ___ collab? whoever you thought of +

might make that happen if we all get along. because i'm pretty sure groups and soloists know when their fans get along w a certain group. maybe that might be why some groups never collab? who tf knows? let's just make more of an effort as a collective, yeah?
one love, y'all
one love, y'all

*don't get along w a certain fandom
