We live in an obesogenic environment. How patronising to state that people with weight issues are making it "so complicated" when looking for a solution.
Imagine if a new asthma inhaler were greeted with the outcry of "Why so complicated? Just live in pollution-free environment with a low pollen count and avoid respiratory illnesses."
New immunomodulator: "Why so complicated? I would simply meditate till my immune system calmed down."
New antidepressant: "Why so complicated? I would simply feel happy all the time and surround myself with good people who I like and who support me whilst having a modest income and no debt."
Maybe... and just hear me out here... maybe it& #39;s complicated because [drum roll] it& #39;s... complicated?
I mean, how stupid do you think people are that they don& #39;t know all of these "simple" things that they could do? If only they weren& #39;t poor. Struggling with mental health. Of limited mobility.
