feathers are super important to us and u have to earn them, even in my culture they are very very important so it could be, as well as a “misuse”. i’m not sure how to say it but that’s not how they should be used in hair/headbands and it’s cheaply made so it’s clearly some +
version that aestheticizes our culture. usually only chiefs are allowed to wear feathers, it looks like a cheaply made version of a dream catcher which is also a red flag. sadly, this has been appropriated time and time again and is now labeled as bohemian/hippie
