Our family’s fav 3 y/o baby boy came over today. He’s trilingual and very very fluent in Punjabi.

This is him playing with our dog:

“Come on kakay, nass nass. Ajao run run!”

We took him out and he refused to be dropped back to his parents’. So my Amma asked him aap ne Baba ke pas jana hai ya mama ke pas? (Both were at different locations.)

He said, to her: “Tere kol.”

His father is my father’s best friend. He calls his father ‘Friendoo’.

My father came outside to watch him play and he was like: “Chachoo tu andar ja Friendoo de naal beh.”
