Thread: Some content creator / #YouTuber thoughts on Amazon #affiliatemarketing ($ amounts included). Previous years show clear specific months with higher sales. If you make videos about product reviews, May, June, and all of Q4 are significant. #ContentCreator #entrepreneurs
Also interesting, I made two videos in August 2020, and yet I logged a high for that month vs 2019. ($480 vs $637) Evergreen content yet again proves to be so worth it. Meaning make videos that will be relevant regardless of when it’s made.
The end of 2020 will be very telling to how much my increase from 2019 to 2020 will be. $5,888 total in 2019, and I’m now at $4,183 and I have 4 months left, and all are the highest grossing. Also this is just US amounts.
If you use @geniuslink like I do, you also have other country amazon programs linked, and even MORE affiliate income. Here is my August of 2020. (Third highest month in 2020, so far) Referral link: https: http://geni.us/qXFYR  Highly recommend geniuslink.
Also interesting, my views are significantly down the past 6 months, yet the affiliate income keeps rolling in. I find this FASCINATING. Videos I’m made in 2018 that blew up have been falling off, but they’re the gift that keep on giving. Wild.
Also in case ppl are wondering, I have 31,700-ish subscribers. A SMALL percentage of my views are from subscribers. Subscribers are the hardcore - your community, not the majority.
When I dive into this stuff, it’s very motivating. Personal life was all over the place this August, and I just didn’t create like I wanted. I somehow still smashed my goal for August amazon affiliate income though lol.
Extremely excited about the last part of 2020 and making videos. Lens reviews may come back in a big way for the holidays, 1. Because it’s FUN. They’re hard to make but very fun. And 2. They make money. We shall see what I can get done! /end thread.
