So @ashrafghani’s Chief Advisor @FFazly, a Swedish citizen, has been taking parental benefit from Sweden (claiming to be in the country) while working at the palace in Kabul.

It is a crime, as per Swedish law, to take out parental benefits if the beneficiary is not living in the country. It is also a crime to be registered in Sweden as resident while living and working abroad.
Even more interestingly, Dr Fazly has, among others, received Swedish ambassador at the palace. Must have been quite a scene.
