How to be successful in meetings.

// Thread ⬇️
Become a detective; not an interrogator if you want to convince.
Respect peoples time; the world doesn't revolve around you.
Without an agenda you are in a "forest without a map".
Your writing and speaking needs to reflect “I can help”.
Questions with “why”, “what” and “how” gets everyone talking.
If you can't explain it briefly, you aren't being clear.
Meetings with more than four people are a waste of time.
Negotiations can be like a battle; do not outnumber your client.
Where you sit in a meeting can favour you or play against you.
Focus your energy on the one who is not talking in the room.
Interrupting someone is a sign of rudeness, you will lose.
Meetings with no “next steps” are a failure. Always follow-up.
