let me ramble for a second about the enby community, i had some thoughts
alright, so ive been thinking about this for a while now.

trans is an umbrella term, right? so that would mean enby people would be under it, right?
to be trans you have to have dysphoria, otherwise you're choosing to be trans for no other reason than you want to. there is no in-between, you either are or you arent. enby is NOT an umbrella term for anything. if you ID outside of the binary its all the same.
i have seen countless "enbies" using the excuse that there hasnt been much research done on enbies, and that we can feel different levels of dysphoria, sometimes not at all. and that because of this they feel comfortable enough to use binary terms.
regardless, there are still people (me) who suffer almost on a daily basis with dysphoria.

since not much research has been done, i want to propose my own theory.
these people who claim to have mild to no dysphoria about their agab or if they use the opposite prounouns from their agab, might not be enby at all. most of these "enbies" are younger than 16 so its only natural to explore yourself in as many ways as possible.
but it becomes harmful when these communities these kids involve themselves in literally force them to think the same way and convince them that their thoughts are their own.
when they even think about having a different opinion, they are immediately shunned and ripped away from the "safe space" these people claim to have built. of course it would be hard to change and accept any new information when theres the threat of losing your comfort community
anyways, back to the enby thing. it wouldnt be far off to assume that maybe these "enbies" still have some confusion and/or are being manipulated by their online communities to "fit in"
all i know is that theres no in between when you have dysphoria, you either do or you dont. some might not have it as bad as others, yes, but without it you literally are not trans.
any dysphoria no matter how severe will push you to want to get better, whether that be transitioning or doing anything to ease your dysphoria.
its simply unrealistic to put little to no effort yet claim you have a brain altering disease such as dysphoria. 99% of these "enbies" will likely end up ID'ing as something entirely different down the line
