Random Boston series thoughts…

Once Cooper switched from the Cirelli line to the Gourde line to match up against the “Perfection” line (can it be perfect if it doesn’t work and is broken up by Game 5?) the B’s really didn’t have anything 5 on 5.

The amount of missed calls, highlighted in Game 5 by the slashed stick in front of the ref who then picked up the stick… was unreal. Both ways, but I was only looking one way for the most part.

Cooper has had the right touch so far in the PO’s vs last year’s mess.

We begged the hockey gods for years for a true No. 1 defensemen and they gifted TB Victor Hedman. To think he looked like he was gone for the playoffs a few weeks ago is a bit amazing.
