So late last night I received two different messages from frontline LTC staff. I would say this is a great time to share their thoughts, anonymously of course. @fordnation @DrFullertonMPP would be wise to talk to these workers who are STILL in the homes.

Worker #1:
"Having families visit is what we all need. Residents, their families & staff. Working at my job, I've never felt so much grief, so much pain, broken hearts, anger, emotional Storm day after day. A 92 year old resident told me this is Nazi Germany all over again"

Worker #2.
"In our home speaking out (against observed neglect/abuse) results in reprisals and remaining quiet is rewarded. Those who speak out often get tired of the fight and leave. Those who speak out often get tired of the fight and leave."

These workers are suffering.
The good ones who want to fight for change often leave, beaten down by the dysfunction and culture of secrecy in this system.

All the while the residents continue to suffer.

If @DrFullertonMPP or @fordnation spent ANY ACTUAL TIME INSIDE LTC HOMES, they'd know what we all know.

We saw this coming.
We know what needs to be done.
We've told you what needs to be done.

So put the 📸down and do something to help @fordnation. Lives depend on it.
