What is the compound effect?

The compound effect is the process of making small, insignificant, positive changes to your lifestyle which will reap huge benefits in the long term

Small choices + consistency + time = significant results.
How can you use it?

Pick areas of your life in which you would like to improve

Examples:
• Health
• Money
• Fitness

Write down your routines that match the desired areas of improvement
Example: Sleep

Current Routine:
• 5 cups of coffee a day
• Using your phone/laptop late at night
• Different sleep/waking times
• Eating junk food right before bed

Ask yourself

What changes can I make to improve my routine?
The changes don’t have to be dramatic

Your new routine could be

Start with
• Limit caffeine – No coffee after 12pm
• Put your phone away an hour before bed
• Stick to the same bed time / waking time
Results?

• Better sleep
• More energy
• More focused

This then has an impact on the other areas of your life
The small habits changes can have a huge impact

You will not notice a difference straight away, maybe not for 6 months

But once you start noticing the change, you’ll never look back
