People who work in social media/digital marketing, can I ask? What is the rationale of having rollouts which involve influencers ALL posting at the same time? I get it from a creating ‘traffic’ perspective but is there any other reason? Why aren’t roll outs staggered?
As a consumer, I find it annoying and I feel bombarded. If anything, I immediately mute the hashtag and avoid the posts entirely.
It feels like being in a room with 100 people who are shouting the same thing. It immediately makes me want to avoid it, and I then miss the opportunity of learning about the advertised product.
