SCOOP: Trump campaign official Jason Miller was paid $20,000 a month for “podcast & radio” work with Bannon’s nonprofit currently under investigation, according to court documents. He was ducking child support at the time. Miller’s own court filings show he appears to be getting paid as much as $35,000 a month by the Trump campaign, but there’s no FEC record of the Trump campaign paying him — or campaign manager Bill Stepien.
It’s not clear what Miller’s effectual $240,000 a year salary covered at Bannon’s nonprofit. He joined the same month that prosecutors say the group first learned they were under investigation and switched to encrypted communications. He worked for 6 months after that.
I’m not sure how clear it is that $35,000 a month would be absolutely insane for campaign work. $420,000 a year! (Biden campaign pays campaign manager Greg Schultz less than $100,000.)
Plus, the campaign and Miller apparently don’t want you, their donors, or the FEC to know.

Also, Miller registered as a lobbyist the month before Trump brought him on the campaign. He lobbied the WHITE HOUSE — for COVID money, of course, including for a lender currently getting hit with a class action lawsuit for allegedly wrongfully prioritizing large PPP loans
But one of the most important questions here is: Who the hell is paying Trump’s campaign manager? How much is he getting paid? Why isn’t the campaign reporting that?
