how echo could have known fives was dead after he was rescued, a thread
a. echo was hooked up to the separatist database for years, and we know that tup and eventually fives were serious concerns for the separatists. +
a. + also, we know that admiral trench recorded the incident of tup killing general tiplar. that video and many other records could be in the separatist database, and echo could have easily had access to them, especially if he was aiding in strategies against his brothers.
b. he just knew. echo and fives were best friends, and, if fives was alive, there’s no way he wouldn’t have come along with rex to save him. rex was extremely dedicated to saving echo. just imagine how fives would have been.
c. this is a stretch, but it’s also important to note that since fives and echo were very close, and since the average human in the star wars universe has at least some trace of midichlorians, the two could have had some sort of force bond that broke when fives died. +
c. + it would also explain why fives wanted to go back for echo in the citadel arc during his original “death”...echo wasn’t actually dead, and fives could somehow sense it.
d. someone told echo offscreen.
which do you think happened?
