Having a hub right away will eliminate any confusion for parents. Setting up a communication plan with parents is key and knowing what works/worked well last year will help.

You may also wish to set up a schedule of tools you will introduce. IE (Week 1: Classroom) (Week 2: Jamboard) (Week 3: Flipgrid) ....
The more tools you can integrate early (in a playful way) the more UDL you can employ in a blended setting.

As you introduce tools playfully, then you can begin to weave in curriculum.
