America cannot continue to rip itself apart. Every few weeks, another horrific, unjustified police shooting takes place, rekindling sweeping protests, violent riots, and a discussion that& #39;s torn our country down the middle. 1/5

Our so called leaders are hell bent on proving that if you just elect them instead of the other guy, it& #39;ll all be solved. Biden& #39;s America. Trump& #39;s America. Law & order, a return to normalcy. But that& #39;s not how this works. 2/5

We& #39;ve suffered this problem in American policing for decades. Just electing the "right person" won& #39;t undo the anger, suffering, and hate boiling in our nation. It may worsen it. Our leaders are too focused on winning than on addressing the problem, and bridging the divide. 3/5

Every single one of us, Libertarian, Democrat, Republican, and Independent, must reflect on what& #39;s happening in our nation today. We must lean our legislators at the federal, state, and local levels to pass real policing reforms. And, most importantly: 4/5

We need to come together with people we disagree with. People we don& #39;t understand. People on the "other side," that our trusted sources have painted as vile, or evil, or racist, or violent. We need to find our common ground, and work towards a better tomorrow. /thread
