A senior high school teacher shared on social media messages from his students revealing the struggles they face amid the distance online learning.

In one account, a student asked him if they would have classes because he only rented his gadget.
"Hindi po tamad ang estudyante ko, katunayan nagdi-deliver po siya ng tubig para mabuhay at makapag-aral," wrote Rejhon Soriano Modesto, a teacher in a university in Manila.
Another student asked about the repercussions if he would be late in Modesto's class because he needed to work early in the morning to afford internet load.
"Huwag niyong romantisahin ‘yung paghihirap ng mga guro at estudyante. We deserve better. May pananagutan ang gobyerno sa hirap na nararanasan natin ngayon," Modesto said.
Modesto asks for spare smartphones for his students. You may send him a message on Messenger: https://bit.ly/32NtNCz
