E.g: I always see plenty of badass edits with girls who kick ass (good for them) but I also know having seen the dramas that the asskicking for like half of them happens in episode 1. The rest of the series the character is as passive as most female kdrama characters (2)

Personally I can’t call that badass. It’s just fake strength used by the writer bc they know girls love strong girls as a way to get us hooked before playing into stereotypes. It’s not EVERY female character... but it’s plenty. (3)

Same thing with expensive powerful women. They’re shot in certain ways to imply strength/power even if the actual writing doesn’t show us it. Amazing for edits... maybe not so much for reality. Again not all of them (4)

Personally I don’t think a FC needs to be physically strong or rich to be considered a “badass” anyway! (e.g Yu Ri from Hi bye Mama & Seo Bi from kingdom are obvious powerhouses) the best female character is the best written instead of the best outwardly “strong” (5)
