Sew a little thread on players I believe don't have a place at Madrid as long as Zidane is manager.

Dani Ceballos: Zidane sanctioned the signing of Ceballos back in 2017 so it continues to baffle me how low he has dropped in Zidane's charts.
With Ceballos set to return to Arsenal on another loan, it's just clear Zidane doesn't and will probably never rate him.

Sergio Reguilón - burst onto the scene in the forgettable 18/19.
Little Regui did not disappoint at all.
On his return, Zidane restored Marcelo to the starting XI, Reguilón knew he had to move.
With Zidane signing Mendy, its clear he just doesn't trust Regui long term.

Gareth Bale - a relationship that was beautiful at the beginning then completely nosedived.
Bale can never be a relevant player under Zidane again.

Mariano Diaz - Zidane was the Real Madrid manager who gave Diaz his debut back in 16/17 szn and Mariano did well.
Left after that season only to return a season later.
Zidane has repeatedly made it clear Mariano isn't in his plans and it seems nothing at all can change that.

James Rodriguez - set to be sold to Everton in the coming days.
James will just never be relevant under Zidane at Madrid, he said so himself.
Good luck to him as he reunites with Don Carlo.
