I derive all my happiness and personal satisfaction from family. And I'm not even a family man. It's just - contributing to family yields in vivid, tangible forms.

Give your sibling a laptop and in a few years they're a brilliant software engineer.

Do that over and over.
I personally believe everyone - especially firstborn kids - should get to a point in life where they *enjoy* the Black Tax.

Takes a while. I used to be resentful of how lean my coins were because I had to support family.

My mindset has changed over the years.
Way I see it, money I spend on myself goes into stupid food and stupid clothes and stupid bills.

Money I send home goes into paying school fees for siblings, buying their books, supporting my parents' business.

The utility is much higher on their end.
Of course you have to do it in such a way that it doesn't strain you at all, which is why I started tracking my expenses in a spreadsheet. Money I sent home is now a predictable expense for the most part and I factor it into my own operational costs.
