Republicans are actively defending and even lionizing a shooter who killed two demonstrators while using a different shooter who killed a different demonstrator as proof their opposition supports violence, and people who will believe that obvious a lie are going to believe it.

After endless videos of unarmed black people gunned down by police and vigilantes, crowds brutalized by cops, and demonstrators murdered by white supremacists, the "all lives matter" crowd finally found a life they think matters.

It's worth noting what the "all lives matter" crowd is willing to do when they find a life that matters.

After endless years saying that no violence is ever acceptable in protest of any amount of violence, they're eager to see protesters crushed. They want war.

They always did.

Anyone aligning with this aligns with the most obvious and blatant push for civil violence we've seen in my 45 yrs. Anyone who does so because they're worried the *protestors* are violent are believing the most obvious lie imaginable.

I don't believe claims of ignorance here.

There are people who, for whatever motivation, will lean in this election to the side of those who are obviously fomenting a race war.

There is a certain type of independent voter who is always *just* about to move toward us, if we all would just behave perfectly enough to make them comfortable to do so.

It's a lie that depends on us not recognizing what sort of behavior they're already comfortable supporting.

Nobody made anybody choose Trump through their behavior. Nobody. It's a lie.
