Of course thin people have body insecurities. No one is denying that. But we don’t deal with the same stigma fat people do and that stigma exists in healthcare, in the workplace, in their inability to access clothes, etc
No one is saying your insecurities and attempts to rectify them are invalid. But people who have been both fat and thin have said over and over that moving through the world as a thin person is wildly different to moving through the world as a fat one
And that’s the point Thickleeyonce is making. I wish people would actually listen to her instead of speaking over her to say “but we have insecurities too”. It goes beyond insecurities
